Twenty Spanish companies will meet today and tomorrow with international investors, especially from the United States, within the framework of the 2020 Spanish Virtual Equity Conference, hosted by BME and BBVA. The event, which over the last few years has been held in New York, will this time be held virtually, due to the Covid-19 crisis.

The Conference will bring into contact, through virtual meetings, the management teams of twenty companies listed on the Spanish stock market and over 40 North American and European institutional investors.

The participating companies are: Acciona, Acerinox, Aena, Almirall, Amadeus, Applus, Atresmedia, CAF, CIE Automotive, Ebro Foods, Gestamp, Grenergy, Indra, Inmobiliaria Colonial, Merlin Properties, Metrovacesa, Neinor Homes, Prisa, Solaria and Vidrala.

The objective of these private meetings is to provide a better understanding of the companies’ current, real situation in today’s environment. The Spanish participating companies have a combined market value exceeding 70 billion euros.

This event takes place a week after the MedCap Forum and complements the actions of BME’s Corporate Access area in favour of Spanish listed companies.
