BME Growth companies increase their turnover by 6% and their staff numbers by 25% in 2020

According to the financial information published by these companies, their turnover increased by 6% last year, to 2.17 billion euros. Compound annual growth over the last seven years was 20.86%.

The year 2020 posed a particularly complex challenge for the REITs listed on BME Growth, which reduced their aggregate Ebitda by 15.1%. However, this fall was offset by the rest of the companies listed on this stock market for SMEs, which demonstrated an extraordinary capacity to manage the crisis and generate cash, with an 18.7% increase in their aggregate Ebitda in 2020. This data consolidates the upward trend recorded between 2013 and 2020, as the compound annual growth of the aggregate Ebitda of all BME Growth companies in this period was 23.3%.

In addition to this, the companies listed on BME Growth contributed significantly to job creation. Overall, the compound annual growth of their staff was 21.7%. In 2020 alone, the total number of employees in these companies grew by 25.4%, to 11,583 professionals.
