Instituto BME signs agreement with ISDE to create a master´s degree in Stock Exchange and Financial Markets

• Offering training for the official SIBE, BME Clearing and MEFF Operator licences
Instituto BME, BME’s training centre, and ISDE, a leading Spanish law business school, have signed an academic collaboration agreement to create and impart the Master in Stock Exchange and Financial Markets, which will be offered together with ISDE’s Degree in Law, which is affiliated to the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. The Agreement has been signed in Madrid by ISDE’s General Manager, Juan José Sánchez Puig, and the Director of Instituto BME, Enrique Castellanos.
Youths studying for this Master’s Degree will receive training in law and finance which in four years will allow them to take the Degree in Law, the Master’s Degree in Stock Exchange and Financial Markets, the Official SIBE operator licence for non-professionals and the Official BME Clearing and MEFF Operator Licences.
The students, who will do internships from the first year of their degree, will have the opportunity to access the job market contributing a solid knowledge acquired thanks to a hands-on method developed in an international environment.
The Master’s Degree in Stock Exchange and Financial Markets exceeds 300 lecture hours. To these must be added the internship periods (close to 1,000 hours), which will provide students with the opportunity to learn at first hand the real application of the knowledge acquired, as well as gradually to integrate themselves into the professional environment they will face at the end of their training.
José Antonio Pérez, head of training at Instituto BME, will be responsible for the academic management of the Master’s Degree while Caridad Vila will lead the coordination of the Master’s Degree. This double Degree in Law and Master’s Degree in Stock Exchange and Financial Markets will start to be imparted in the academic year 2021-2022.
Enrique Castellanos, Director of Instituto BME, states that “this agreement reinforces BME's commitment to quality financial training. This Master’s Degree in Stock Exchange and Financial Markets will be an indisputable benchmark, due to its unique training offering in the market”.
Juan José Sánchez Puig, General Manager of ISDE, commented that “for ISDE having the opportunity to develop the financial division with excellence together with such a leading institution in the industry as Instituto BME, BME’s training centre, is a very important step forward”.
About Instituto BME: Instituto BME is BME’s training centre. Created in 2005, it advances the work of Instituto MEFF, which was founded in 1990. Its main aim is to contribute to the promotion of financial culture. Last year, it imparted 4,097 hours of training to a total of 6,062 students.
