BME reviews its dividend policy

In relation to BME’s announcement of 17 December 2019, in which the expected dates for the distribution of the two interim dividends for the 2020 financial year were made public, and given the current economic situation resulting from the COVID-19 health crisis, BME has decided to review the said proposal for the distribution of the interim dividends for the year.

As a consequence, and, in order to bolster the company’s voluntary reserves, the Board of Directors of BME has agreed the non-distribution of the first interim dividend for 2020, scheduled for 11 September 2020.

The possible economic impact on the Company of the current situation for the full year 2020 will also be analysed and assessed in greater depth irrespective of the adoption of this measure.
